AAFRICA is Creating a Better Future...

A A F R I C A

Based in New Haven County, AAFRICA will be a child development center that prioritizes hands-on learning, parental engagement, and historical appreciation to develop free-thinking children with positive self-images. We are currently working to establish a private school system, that starts with preschool enrollment  at an affordable flat tuition rate.

We aim to build a world where neither skin color or beliefs are limiting factors in a child’s future.
We work to create a world where the things that make you different are also the things that make you special. We look forward to a world where children grow up being distinctly aware of their history and can embrace their culture with confidence and pride. The day we accomplish this is the day the world will become a better place.

Mission

Our mission is to develop African American children into confident, free-thinking adults to help them create a better future, for themselves and their communities.

Accessible

We aim to be there for every child who needs us; for every family in search of a brighter future for their families.

Affordable

To stay true to our purpose, we maintain low fees to ensure our
services are attainable for families that would benefit from our programs.

Affirming

We aim to help our children grow up embracing their culture and heritage with pride.

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.
Martin Luther King, Jr.

Enrollment

At AAFRICA, we know “it takes a village” and we  manifest that into every single interaction with our students, parents, and staff. We go beyond child care, with a strong focus on familial nurturing, practical skill development, and cultural affirmation for African American children. To make sure AAFRICA is the best choice for your child, we hold mandatory parent orientations as a critical step in the enrollment process.
